An immediate denture is one that is fabricated before teeth are extracted, and inserted immediately after the removal of the teeth. It can be a full denture or a partial denture. An immediate denture is made in collaboration with a dentist.

The advantage of an immediate denture means you are not left with missing teeth following tooth extraction.

When a tooth is extracted, gum shrinkage is expected and it is therefore necessary to have an immediate denture relined within three months.
